Payment Options

Virtual Office Services accepts both cheques and payment through On-Line Banking/Interac.


Invoices will be sent via email on the 1st and the 15th of every month. A hard copy will also be sent out in the mail should this be required. Payment is due within 14 days of date of invoice.

We "time" all audio typing time.  So if your typing takes 1 hour and 14 mins then that is what you are charged for.  There is a one hour minimum.  Obviously if you have chosen the per page option then you will be charged per page. 

The fee for late payment is 5% of the outstanding balance or a standard service charge of $20.00, whichever is greater. All work will cease if there are invoices outstanding for more than 30 days and no work will be delivered until the full balance, including late payment fees, has been paid.

Additional Fees

Some projects may incur additional fees. These are for items such as printer ink, paper, stamps, envelopes, courier costs, long distance charges, travel time and expenses, non-standard software and any other supplies specific to the client's needs. Clients will be advised of any additional fees outside of the contracted rate and will be billed additionally to normal pricing fees.

Travelling for meetings

Should you require me to meet you "away from my office" then this time will be billed and reflected on your invoice. I am more than happy to have you visit my home office at any time deemed convenient for both parties.
Out of hours work

Projects which must be completed outside of normal business hours, weekends, and/or holidays are subject to an additional 25% extra per hour.

Illegible or Poor Quality Source Materials

Illegible or poor quality source materials will be subject to an additional fee based on quality of materials.

Errors and Omissions

By accepting work performed or services agreed upon, the client assumes full responsibility for proofreading and accuracy of final work delivered. Any errors found to be as a consequence of VOS will be corrected at no extra charge. However, any changes made by the client after submission of work will incur an additional charge. 


All quoted estimates are provided to the best of my ability after review of the project. Final invoices are based on actual work performed and may change if the scope of the project changes.

Privacy Policy

All information provided will remain 100% confidential unless otherwise indicated in writing by the client. We will never exchange email addresses, mailing addresses, telephone numbers or any other information to a third party without written consent by the client.
